Born and raised in Las Vegas, Aaron moved to Hawaii in 2020, bringing with him both ambition and enthusiasm for a new chapter in the veterinary field. With a strong background in customer service and cosmetology, he offers a fresh and creative perspective with the Hale Ola team.
Dr. Abaya was born and raised in Aiea. She spent time volunteering at different small animal hospitals, shelters, and spay/neuter clinics before graduating from Washington State University. Dr.
Dr. Ochiai has over 30 years of veterinary experience, and has worked at many clinics across Oahu, both as a resident and relief veterinarian. Here at Hale Ola, she has found a happy home with our great team.
Dr. Dunne has just moved to Oahu from Perth, Western Australia. She graduated from Murdoch University and has previously worked as a veterinarian in a small animal hospital and cat rescue shelter.
McKayle (Kayla) entered vetmed in 2024 through Windward Community College's veterinary technician program. From there, she obtained her certified vet assistant and associates in veterinary technology. She loves her large breed pups and has a chocolate labrador named Koda, and a bunny named Gus.
Born and raised in Hakipuʻu, Oʻahu. I grew up on a farm and developed a lifelong love for a variety of animals. After first entering the veterinary field in 2009, I took time away to pursue other opportunities, and later returned to further my education and earn my degree in Animal Science.
Dr. Piyalak Timbang was raised in Bangkok, Thailand. She graduated from Chulalongkorn University, the top veterinary university in Thailand.
